Our Adoption Journey

If you’ve landed here it’s likely because you’re curious about or interested in the story of our adoption journey.

But before we get into that, we want you to know that we will do our best to be fully transparent around when we are raising funds for our adoption if you’ll grant us the grace to be more private about some of the other details.

Adoption Fundraisers will always be clearly marked and communicated on all fronts.

  • We have always believed that adoption would be part of our family’s story and now is the time for more of that story to unfold. We talked about it before we even got married over 15 years ago! After three wonderful, but complicated, pregnancies and biological births, we believe the way to continue to grow our family is through adoption. We’ve been praying about it for years and are excited to continue taking steps towards whatever is next for our family.

  • So much of the timing of adoption is our of our hands. But, we are currently (as of writing this in March 2024), in the early stages of getting everything ready in our home and “on paper”. But after that, it could be months or even years before we’re placed.

  • Your prayers are always welcome.

    Pray for the little one that wil hopefully one day be placed in our care. Pray for our daughters that they will be ready to receive a new little one into their home and heart. Pray for us as we navigate all that comes with the adoption process from the finances to the emotions.
